Victims of human trafficking being exploited today don’t have the luxury of being able to talk to our elected officials. Be a voice for the voiceless. Afterall, your Member of Parliament is supposed to be working for you and addressing issues that concern you.
Write (postage-free), email or call your MP today
Let them know, in your own words, why human trafficking is an issue that concerns you and join other Canadians in calling on the Government of Canada to adopt a national plan of action to combat human trafficking. Be sure to ask for a reply.
A detailed set of recommendations appears in the final chapter of Invisible Chains if you’d like to be even more specific about changes you’d specifically like to see made to better prosecute traffickers, protect victims and prevent this horrible victimization from continuing in our communities. Thank you for speaking up!
